 يختتم معرض Big 5 Construct Saudi اليوم فعالياته في مركز واجهة الرياض للمعارض والمؤتمرات، بعد أربعة أيام حافلة بمشاركة واسعة من قادة ومتخصصي القطاع، ركزت على مستقبل البناء والتشييد والاحتياجات المتطورة للبيئة المبنية في المملكة.

شكّلت الاستدامة والتعاون محورين رئيسيين في الجلسات التي شهدها معرض Big 5 Construct Saudi والمسارات الأربعة المتخصصة المصاحبة، وهي معرض HVACR Saudi Arabia لأنظمة التدفئة والتهوية وتكييف الهواء والتبريد، ومعرض FM & Clean Saudi Arabia لإدارة المرافق والنظافة، ومعرض Heavy Saudi Arabia للإنشاءات والمعدات الثقيلة، ومعرض Totally Concrete Saudi Arabia للخرسانة والأنظمة الإنشائية، حيث تناولت النقاشات المنتجات والتقنيات وتنفيذ المشاريع وأداء الأصول.
واستعرضت الشركات العارضة حلولًا مصممة للحد من الأثر البيئي وتعزيز الكفاءة التشغيلية، فيما ناقشت الجلسات المتخصصة دور التعاون والتخطيط والابتكار والتكنولوجيا في تحويل طموحات الاستدامة إلى نتائج قابلة للقياس. كما أثمرت اللقاءات النوعية التي شهدها المعرض عن اتفاقيات من شأنها إحداث أثر ملموس على مستوى منظومة القطاع.

اتفاقيات جديدة تعزز التعاون بين الشركات

شهد معرض Big 5 Construct Saudi توقيع عدد من اتفاقيات التعاون والشراكة، في مؤشر على دور المعرض في ربط الشركات واستكشاف فرص أعمال ومشاريع جديدة في السوق السعودية.
وفي هذا السياق، وقّعت شركة تصنيع مواد التعبئة والتغليف “FIPCO” و شركة ” SAPTEC” اتفاقية تعاون تجمع خبراتهما في مجالات البناء والمقاولات والبنية التحتية، بهدف استكشاف فرص المشاريع المشتركة وتعزيز قدرات تنفيذ المشاريع في المملكة.
كما وقّعت شركة الرويس “Alruwais” اتفاقية تعاون وشراكة مع مجموعة نيميتشاك “Nemetschek Group”، المتخصصة في البرمجيات وحلول الذكاء الاصطناعي لقطاعات التصميم والبناء، تركز الاتفاقية على تطوير الأعمال واستكشاف مجالات التعاون المستقبلية، بما يدعم تعزيز التكامل عبر منظومة أعمال الشركة.
وفي اتفاقية منفصلة، دخلت شركة الرويس “Alruwais” في شراكة مع شركة مكائن الخليج للتجارة ” Gulf Machines Trading GUMACO” بهدف تعزيز التكامل والترابط بين قطاعي البناء والتصنيع ودعم تنفيذ المشاريع بكفاءة أكبر.
كما أعلنت شركة الرويس “Alruwais” عن شراكة جديدة مع منصة تعميد للتمويل لاستكشاف حلول وفرص تمويلية مشتركة في القطاعات ذات الصلة.

جلسات “Big 5 Talks ” الحوارية: تناقش تحويل أهداف الاستدامة إلى تطبيقات عملية
وبالتوازي مع المعرض، استضافت برنامج “Big 5 Talks” سلسلة من الجلسات والنقاشات التي تناولت الأولويات المؤثرة في مستقبل قطاع البناء والتشييد في المملكة، حيث برزت الاستدامة باعتبارها عنصرًا متكاملًا في مختلف مراحل المشروع، بدءًا من التخطيط والتصميم والمشتريات، ووصولًا إلى التنفيذ وأداء الأصول على المدى الطويل.
وناقش الخبراء أهمية التخطيط المبكر عبر مختلف مراحل المشاريع لتعزيز المرونة والكفاءة، إلى جانب أهمية التعاون بين جميع الأطراف المعنية، والتبني المتوازن للتقنيات الحديثة بما يدعم تحقيق أهداف الاستدامة بصورة عملية.
وخلال جلسة بعنوان “تلبية متطلبات الاستدامة أثناء أعمال البناء”، ناقش عدد من الخبراء أهمية وضع أهداف واضحة وخطط عمل قابلة للتنفيذ لضمان الالتزام بمتطلبات الاستدامة.
وقال الدكتور أحمد طه نعمان، مدير البيئة في شركة الراجحي للبناء والتعمير، إن على القطاع العمل على تحويل “أهداف الاستدامة من مجرد خطط على الورق إلى إجراءات واضحة على أرض الواقع”.
من جانبه، أكد داود عقيلة، المستشار الرئيسي للاستدامة في شركة REEDS Consult، أهمية التعاون عبر سلسلة القيمة بأكملها، بدءًا من التصميم ومرورًا بالمشتريات ووصولًا إلى التنفيذ، بما يدعم تحقيق الاستدامة بالتوازي مع رفع كفاءة المشاريع.
كما شدد نورالله واسي، مدير الامتثال البيئي في مشروع مدينة الملك فهد الرياضية لدى مجموعة بن لادن السعودية، على أهمية إشراك أصحاب المصلحة في المراحل المبكرة من المشروع، موضحًا أن المواءمة منذ البداية تسهم في ضمان إمكانية تطبيق متطلبات المواد والتركيب وتحقيق أهداف الاستدامة خلال مرحلة البناء.

جوائز مسارات Big 5 Impact Trail تكرّم الاستدامة على أرض الواقع
وتعزز حضور الاستدامة في المعرض من خلال جوائز مسارات Big 5 Impact Trail، التي كرّمت حلولًا تجمع بين الابتكار والأثر العملي في عدد من المجالات الرئيسية، بما في ذلك التقنيات منخفضة الأثر البيئي، والاقتصاد الدائري، والاستدامة التشغيلية.
وحصلت شركة برايم الشرق الأوسط للتجارةPrime Middle East Trading Company على جائزة الابتكار في الاستدامة عن حلول تقنية Solstice® Low-GWP Refrigerant Solutions، التي تركز على استخدام حلول تبريد ذات قدرة منخفضة على إحداث الاحترار العالمي.
كما حصلت شركة مصدر لمواد البناء على جائزة أفضل حل في الاقتصاد الدائري في منتجات Kronospan.
وفازت شركة الفطيم الهندسية بـجائزة الاستدامة التشغيلية عن حلولها المتكاملة لإدارة المرافق، تقديرًا لدورها في دمج الاستدامة ضمن عمليات إدارة وتشغيل المباني والأصول.

وتعليقًا على ختام المعرض، قال محمد كازي، النائب الأول للرئيس في dmg events:

Big 5 Construct Saudi transitions sustainability ambition to action
Across Big 5 Construct Saudi and its four specialized events, featuring HVACR Saudi Arabia, FM & Clean Saudi Arabia, Heavy Saudi Arabia and Totally Concrete Saudi Arabia, sustainability and collaboration were recurring themes in conversations on products, technologies, project delivery and asset performance.
Exhibitors showcased solutions designed to reduce environmental impact and improve operational efficiency, while industry sessions examined how collaboration, planning, innovation and technology can help turn sustainability ambitions into measurable outcomes, while meaningful connections resulted in industry-shaping agreements across the ecosystem.
MoU signings reinforce event’s connectability
The exhibition floor witnessed active discussions translate into several agreements signed during Big 5 Construct Saudi, reflecting the depth of business engagement at the event. Among them, FIPCO and SAPTEC signed a cooperation agreement to combine their construction, contracting and infrastructure expertise, with the partnership set to explore joint project opportunities and strengthen project execution capabilities in Saudi Arabia.
Saudi contracting firm Alruwais also signed a cooperation and partnership agreement with software and AI provider Nemetschek, focused on business development and future collaboration, supporting greater integration across its business ecosystem. In a separate agreement, Alruwais partnered with Gulf Machines Trading Co. (GUMACO) to strengthen integration and connectivity in construction and manufacturing, and support more efficient project delivery. Alruwais also announced a new partnership with Tameed Finance to explore joint financial solutions and opportunities across shared sectors.

Big 5 Talks: sustainability takeaways from the sessions
The discussions at Big 5 Talks complemented the exhibition with practical perspectives on the priorities driving Saudi Arabia’s construction sector, with sustainability emerging as an increasingly integrated consideration across project planning, procurement and delivery. Speakers highlighted the importance of setting clear sustainability targets early and translating them into practical actions on site, with collaboration across the value chain and balanced adoption of technology supporting more efficient and achievable outcomes.
During the session ‘Meeting sustainability requirements during construction’, experts explored how earlier alignment between project stakeholders can help teams move from sustainability commitments to implementation. Dr Ahmed Taha Nouman, Director of Environment, Al Rajhi Building and Construction Company, stressed the need to turn “sustainability targets from paper to clear action on site”, while Daoud Akeilah, Principal Sustainability Consultant, REEDs Consult, highlighted the role of collaboration from design through procurement and delivery. Noorullah Wasi, Environmental Compliance Manager at King Fahd Sports City Project, Saudi Binladin Group, reinforced the importance of early stakeholder engagement, noting that initial alignment is critical to ensuring materials, installation requirements and sustainability targets are achievable during construction.
Big 5 Impact Trail Awards honour sustainability in practice
The event’s focus on sustainability was reinforced through Big 5 Impact Trail Awards, recognizing solutions that demonstrate innovation and practical impact across key areas including low-impact technologies, circular economy principles and operational sustainability. The Sustainability Innovation Award was presented to Prime Middle East Trading Company for its Solstice® Low-GWP Refrigerant Solutions, while Masdar received the Best Circular Economy Solution Award for its Kronospan Products. Al-Futtaim Engineering Company was recognized with the Operational Sustainability Award for its Integrated Facilities Management Solution.
